The counselling schedule for the AP PGECET-qualified students has been released by Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) on its official website. GMR Institute of Technology was established in the year 1997 and is a flagship initiative of GMR Varalakshmi Foundation. It is a private, autonomous college in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. The college has been affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK). It has been recognised by UGC and has also been approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. The college has also been accredited by NAAC with an “A” grade and NBA.
The GMRIT courses are offered to interested candidates at the undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. There are a total of 2 courses offered to students in the stream of engineering and technology. All the college courses are available to students in a regular, offline mode. The GMR Institute of Technology admission is offered to all of its programmes based on a candidate's performance in the relevant entrance exam and the most recent qualifying exam. The college accepts a number of entrance tests for admission, including AP EAPCET (for B.Tech courses), AP ECET (for B.Tech lateral entry) and AP PGECET (for M.Tech courses).

GMR Institute of Technology cutoff 2024 based on AP EAMCET for round 1 is out. According to the cutoff, the closing rank is 16038 - 69371. However, the exact GMR Institute of Technology cutoff will also depend on the BTech specialisation you wish to choose along with your category. Though there is a less chance for you to get seat at top specialisations with your rank, you can wait for the final cutoff for confirmation.
The courses at GMR Institute of Technology is offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels to interested candidates. There are only two courses offered by the institute to the candidates i.e. B.Tech and M.Tech in various specialisations such as Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Thermal Engineering and more. The duration of the UG courses is 4 years and the duration of PG courses is 2 years. The GMR Institute of Technology fees for the various offered courses range between Rs 90,000 and Rs 3.03 Lakhs.
